MEET THE RIDER

A board for a rider who has been with us for over 25 years.
This custom was shaped for a long-time T-REEF rider Jino
someone who has trusted and ridden our boards for more than two decades.

The starting point was his current favorite: a 7’2” mid-length.
A board that offers both speed and control, and one he considers his most reliable.

This time, his request was simple:
“Keep this feeling but make it more responsive. More aggressive.”

To achieve that, we reimagined the board at 6’8”
six inches shorter, without losing its essence.

THE DESIGN STORY

A shorter length without sacrificing stability

By reducing the length to 6’8”, the board gains responsiveness and ease of handling.
At the same time, width and volume are carefully adjusted to maintain paddling power and stability.

An outline that balances flow and responsiveness

A generously curved outline creates smooth, flowing lines through turns,
while still delivering quick response under the rider’s input.

A bottom design that connects speed and control

The nose is kept flat to create a smooth water flow, generating natural acceleration.
Toward the tail, a slight slide V is added to ease rail-to-rail transitions and enhance maneuverability.

A swallow tail that blends hold with release

The combination of a swallow tail and down rails enhances both grip and release.
This allows for sharper, more aggressive turns without losing stability.

Rocker tuned for everyday performance conditions

Designed to perform best in waist-to head-high waves,
where speed and control need to work in balance.

Materials and setup for a natural, responsive feel

Built with PU foam blanks for smooth flex and responsiveness.
Finished with a tri-fin setup, tailored to the rider’s preference.
