For 40 years, T-REEF has been hand-shaping surfboards here in Shonan.
And for over 50 years, our shaper Tadao Tominaga has dedicated his life to the craft.

it’s how we stay connected to the ocean, to surfing, and to each other.

More Than Just a Surfboard Brand

In 2023, we made an important shift.
We’re now focused on something bigger:
Passing on the culture and craftsmanship of surfboard making to the next generation.

Our mission is simple:
Keep the heart of surfing beating — through our hands, our boards, and our community.

Why We Updated the Site

We wanted a place that feels more like us,
a site that shows not only what we make, but WHY we make it.

With this redesign, we hope you’ll:

The new site was designed by Raphaël Hode,
a surfer and creator who has shaped two boards at T-REEF Workshop himself.
