MEET THE RIDER
He tried a Tadao Tominaga-shaped SUP in Sanur, Bali for the first time.
He was immediately drawn to the board’s speed and smooth glide,
and this is how it led to his first order.
Using the Sanur board as a reference, we determined the balance of length, width, and thickness.
The nose outline and tail shape were then refined to reflect his personal preferences and riding style.

THE DESIGN STORY
A Core Concept Focused on Smooth, Neutral Performance
The fundamental concept of this 9'3" SUP is simple:
easy to ride, with a neutral and balanced feel.
Rather than focusing on one extreme performance trait, we aimed to create a board that performs consistently across various conditions.
Quick acceleration, controlled turns, and stable cruising
the goal was to balance all of these elements within one cohesive design.
Foil Design That Enhances Speed and Control
The foil from nose to tail is shaped into a refined, fine foil that allows for smooth rail control while maximizing speed potential.
While maintaining sufficient volume for stability, the rails are carefully foiled down.
This allows the board to remain stable, yet responsive and easy to engage during turns.
Volume Balance Supporting Cruising and Stability
With carefully calculated length, width, and thickness, the board carries enough volume to ensure excellent cruising performance and stability while waiting for waves.
It enhances straight-line stability during paddling and makes positioning before takeoff smooth and effortless.
The result is a well-balanced board that feels secure regardless of rider build or conditions.
Bottom Design That Controls Water Flow
The bottom transitions from flat to a slight slide V toward the tail.
The flat section generates initial speed and glide, while the V in the tail area allows for smoother rail-to-rail transitions during turns.
This creates a natural flow that balances paddling speed with maneuverability.
A Versatile Fin System for Multiple Conditions
The board features a single box plus four-plug multi-fin system.
It can be set up as a single fin, 2+1, or quad, depending on wave conditions, size, and rider preference.
This versatile configuration allows the board to adapt to a wide range of surf environments with a single platform.
FEEDBACK
"Before riding a Tadao Tominaga-shaped board, I had been using mass-produced product boards.
The first time I rode the SUP he shaped for me, I was genuinely shocked.
Everything felt noticeably different inside the wave
the glide when paddling, the speed before catching the wave, the water flow through the bottom, and especially the responsiveness once engaging the rail.
It moves more lightly than I expect, almost effortlessly.
It feels like driving a GT car — quick, yet perfectly controlled.
At times, it makes me feel as if my skill level has improved by several steps lol.
At the same time, the board also presents new challenges and pushes my riding to improve further.
It truly is an outstanding board."
